What Mantharaka does at the beginning of the story is that his loom broke so he had to get wood in trees to make another one. For example, Mantharaka goes to the trees. Another example, is that Mantharaka meets a spirit in the tree that he was going to cut down. A third example, is that the spirit promised him he would give him a wish for Mantharaka if Mantharaka dont cut down the tree. Clearly, what happend at the beginning of the story his loom broke and he had to go to the tree to get wood to do another loom.


What happen at the end of the story is that Mantharaka got killed by neighbors because they thought Mantharaka was a alien because he haves 2 heads and 2 arms. Mantharaka at the end of the story he tells the spirit for 1 more head and 2 more arms. Mantharaka has 2 heads and 4 arms because Mantharaka's wife said he needs to work 2 as hard as he use to. The neighbors killed Mantharaka because Mantharaka looked weird and thought he was from out of space or somewhere else but not from there. Evidently, at the end of the story Mantharaka got killed by the neighbors.


Mantharaka's action change over the time as he was asking his friend and wife what to wish for. For example, when he asked the barber what to ask the spirit for.Another example, is that he asked his wife for wishing ideas. A third example, is that Mantharaka did not like the barber's idea but he liked his wife idea. For that reason, Mantharaka's actions changed over time as he was asking his friend and wife what to wish for to the spirit.

Dear Future President,

There is a big problem facing the Earth. The problem is that we need to
stop Global Warming. First, is too hot in the summer. Second, we need to stop pollution. Third, we need to stop using so much energy. I recommend you to make people know about global warming witch some people don't know about.

We need to stop global warming because is too hot in the summer. It is burning when at the a beach or a pool. We will be sweating a lot in the summer and that is not normal from how it was so hot in this summer. And sometimes elevators stop working wen really hot. Clearly we need to do something about it being so hot in the summer.

Global warming is involved in pollution. One thing people should do is don't trow things in the floor. Sanitazion needs to clean more often in the streets. So many cars using gas that we almost don't have gas. Evidently we all as a team need to stop global warming.

Energy is taking that we use is talking to much energy from the sun. For example, a lot of electronics to charge.Second, a lot of t.v and computer.Third, light bulb takes to much energy at sometimes people don't turn off the lights, We use to much energy with the air conditiners and fans when is really hot. For that reason I want people to turn off the lights when coming out a room or when not using that room or not using something to disconnect it or we could only use the curly ones.

I recommend you to make posible to stop Global warming. Some people don't know and you need to make sure everyone knows. Thank you for your time and consideration.

My name is Amy. I go to school at CIS 339. My ELA teacher is Mr. Spevack. What i like most about my ELA class is there is interesting books.
